Sara Bareilles’ “She Used To Be Mine” Ranks as Hot AC Radio’s Most-Added Song

Several recently released songs resonated with hot adult contemporary radio programmers this week.

None, however, received as much support as “She Used To Be Mine.” The new Sara Bareilles tune earns this week’s most-added distinction.

The single, which is the first official release from Bareilles’ forthcoming “What’s Inside: Songs From Waitress,” scored adds from 24 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations.

Picked up by 21 stations, James Bay’s “Let It Go” narrowly trails as the week’s second-most-added Hot AC song.

Rudimental’s “Lay It All On Me (featuring Ed Sheeran)” claims third with 19 adds, while a total of 16 weekly pickups earns Maroon 5’s “Feelings” the format’s fourth-most-added position. Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?,” which received 15 weekly adds, follows as fifth-most-added.

Other notable Hot AC options: Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You” (14 adds, 6th-most-added), Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” (12 adds, 7th), Rob Thomas’ “Hold On Forever” (10 adds, 8th), Andy Grammer’s “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” (9 adds, 9th), Jamie Lawson’s “Wasn’t Expecting That” (6 adds, 10th, tie), Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall” (6 adds, 10th, tie), and Sia’s “Alive” (6 adds, 10th, tie)
