Ratings: TNT’s “Public Morals” Slips in Key Demos; Viewership Falls 29%

Last week’s “Public Morals” series premiere posted underwhelming numbers.

This week’s episode posted weaker ones.

Tuesday’s edition of the TNT drama drew a 0.25 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.33 adults 25-54 rating, and 1.531 million total viewers.

The numbers trailed those of last week’s premiere (0.28, 0.45, 2.143) by 11%, 27%, and 29%, respectively.

This week’s episode was available for streaming in advance of Tuesday’s television broadcast. That reality may account for some of this week’s decline.

It does not, however, suddenly turn these disappointing numbers into strong ones.

Moreover, this week’s “Public Morals” received considerably stronger lead-in support. While last week’s “Rizzoli & Isles” drew a 0.63 in A18-49, a 0.88 in A25-54, and 4.589 million total viewers, this week’s edition posted a 0.82 in A18-49, a 1.02 in A25-54, and a 4.766 million viewership total
