Ratings: “Liv and Maddie” Surges For Season Finale

Benefiting from an absence of “Teen Choice Awards” competition and season finale lure, Sunday’s “Liv and Maddie” enjoyed significant gains.

This week’s episode of the Disney Channel series posted a 0.42 adults 18-49 rating and a viewership total of 2.446 million viewers.

The numbers considerably top those of last week’s broadcast, which managed a 0.33 in adults 18-49 and reached 1.896 million total viewers.

Entitled “Champ-a-Rooney,” the season two finale was the series’ second-most-watched episode since February. In that span, only the July 26 episode (2.527 million viewers) reached a larger audience.

— Disney’s Sunday night lineup also included “Austin & Ally” (0.26 in A18-49, 1.943 million total viewers) and “Best Friends Whenever” (0.29 in A18-49, 2.030 million total viewers).
