Powered most notably by its opening week sales total, Nelly’s “The Fix (featuring Jeremih)” arrives on the latest Billboard Hot 100.
The song, which is Nelly’s debut release for RECORDS, starts at #86 on the all-encompassing chart.
The Hot 100 debut comes in conjunction with a #23 launch on the Billboard Digital Songs subchart. That is the week’s best starting point for a new release and second-best debut position overall.
Only Eazy-E’s “Boyz-in-the-Hood,” which was first released in 1987, makes a bigger splash on this week’s Digital Songs chart. It debuts at #22.
— 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Fly Away” also debuts on this week’s Hot 100. The song, which was released as an instant gratification cut from the band’s forthcoming album, arrives at #100.
It concurrently takes #35 on Digital Songs.
— Other Hot 100 debuts include “Straight Outta Compton,” “Hit the Quan,” and the aforementioned “Boyz-n-the-Hood.”
