X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” Ranks as Alt Radio’s #1 Song for 11th Straight Week

Its margin of victory is shrinking, but the most important fact is that it remains a margin of victory. X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” is once again the #1 song on Mediabase’s alternative radio airplay chart.

Thanks to the ~2,925 spins it received during the August 16-22 tracking week (-154), “Renegades” earns an eleventh-consecutive week at #1.

Spun ~2,744 times during the tracking week (+99), Cold War Kids’ “First” assumes this week’s runner-up slot (+1). While it slips one place to #3, Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s” also enjoys a week-over-week airplay gain. Its weekly total of ~2,741 plays bests last week’s mark by 90 spins.

Beck’s “Dreams” (#4, = | ~2,561, -79) and Mumford & Sons’ “The Wolf” (#5, = | ~2,302, -127) again complete the Top 5.

— In conjunction with its eleventh victory at alternative, “Renegades” also rises to the #1 spot on the Triple A airplay chart. It meanwhile climbs to #11 at hot adult contemporary and nears the Top 40 at pop.
