Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s” Reaches Hot AC’s Top 20; R. City Joins Top 25, U2 Goes Top 30

Elle King’s multi-format hit “Ex’s and Oh’s” officially joins the Top 20 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

Up three places, the song claims #19 on the strength of its ~2,151 tracking week spins (+499). The Hot AC lift comes as “Ex’s and Oh’s” slips to #3 at alternative radio but holds #5 at Triple A and enters the Top 40 at pop.

“Ex’s and Oh’s” is the week’s only addition to the Hot AC Top 20. Songs do, however, crack the Top 25 and Top 30.

— New to the Top 25 is R. City’s “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine).” Spun ~1,619 times during the August 16-22 tracking week (+652), “Locked Away” rises five places to a new peak of #23.

— U2’s “Song for Someone” rises one place to #30. It received 651 weekly plays (+93).
