Major Lazer’s “Lean On” Enters Rhythmic’s Top 15; Rich Homie Quan, Fetty Wap Go Top 20

While Major Lazer’s “Lean On (featuring MØ & DJ Snake)” suffered a setback on this week’s all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100 (down five places to #18), it continues to make upward moves at radio.

In addition to reaching a new peak of #12 on Mediabase’s pop airplay chart, the song enters the Top 15 of the Mediabase rhythmic listing.

Up five places, “Lean On” soars to a new high of #15 on the chart. It received 2,348 spins (+427) during the July 5-11 tracking week.

It is the week’s only new addition to the Top 15.

The Top 20, meanwhile, welcomes a pair of new additions. One song also re-enters.

New to the mix are Rich Homie Quan’s “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and Fetty Wap’s “My Way (featuring Monty).”

The former, which currently crowns the urban airplay chart, rises four places to #17 at rhythmic. It received 2,217 tracking week spins (+354).

Despite being overshadowed by Fetty Wap’s “679 (featuring Remy Boyz)” in terms of overall activity, his “My Way” continues to gain ground at rhythmic radio. Spun 2,160 times (+335), the song rises four places to a new peak of #19.

While not new to the Top 20, Fifth Harmony’s hit “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink)” re-enters that portion of the chart this week. Up two places, it claims #20 on the strength of its 1,948 tracking week spins (+119).
