Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away with Me” Impacts Radio on 7/21; Cover Art Revealed

For Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You,” a slow ascent at pop radio reached a brick wall just inside the Top 30.

With the US release of her “E-MO-TION” album approaching, attention will now turn to follow-up single “Run Away with Me.”

According to Interscope, the song will formally impact pop radio on July 21. That date precedes the August 21 release of “E-MO-TION” by exactly one month.

To promote the album, Jepsen will perform numerous songs — including the new single — as part of the 8/21 TODAY Show Summer Concert Sseries.

“Run Away with Me” received strong fan feedback upon emerging online last month. Whether that positive reception will translate into a successful pop run remains to be seen.

To date, Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and Owl City duet “Good Time” are her only bona fide radio hits.
