Breaking Benjamin’s “Dark Before Dawn” Set to Win Sales Race with 135-145K

On track to narrowly outperform the band’s 2009 predecessor “Dear Agony,” Breaking Benjamin’s comeback album “Dark Before Dawn” will easily win the weekly album sales race.

According to Hits Daily Double, the release is expected to shift 135-145,000 UScopies in its first week of release. If the final total indeed lands in that range, it will best the 134,000 mark for “Dear Agony.”

It will also give Breaking Benjamin the #1 spot on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. Tori Kelly’s “Unbreakable Smile,” which is tracking as the week’s next-best seller, will sell 60-65,000.

With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) included, “Dark Before Dawn” will boast a consumption total of 145-155,000. That will earn it the top spot on the Billboard 200 and become the first chart-topper of Breaking Benjamin’s career.
