Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” Holds #1 at Hot AC; Jason Derulo Top 5

While it suffered a slight week-over-week spin loss, Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” remains comfortably separated from Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good.” It remains the #1 song at hot adult contemporary radio.

Spun ~7,178 times during the May 31-June 6 tracking week, “Shut Up and Dance” celebrates a fifth week atop the Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart. “Honey, I’m Good” holds at #2, this time courtesy ~6,237 weekly spins.

Maroon 5’s “Sugar” (#3, ~5,198), Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” (#4, ~5,198) and Taylor Swift’s “Style” (#5, ~4,941) complete the top five.

Up a whopping 708 spins this week, Derulo’s song ranks as Hot AC’s second-greatest weekly airplay gainer (after Wiz Khalifa’s #10 “See You Again”). It also makes its first appearance in the Top 5.
