Rob Thomas, Sia, Andrew McMahon, Hozier, More Reach Hot AC Radio’s Top 40

A wide array of songs vault into the Top 40 of this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

Leading the charge if Rob Thomas’ new “Trust You.” The single, which ranked as the format’s most added song this past week, soars twenty three places to a new peak of #31. It received 599 spins during the May 31-June 6 tracking week.

Sia’s “Elastic Heart” follows with a nine place jump to #32. It earned 469 weekly plays.

Following its success at alternative and AAA radio, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite” earns a position inside the Hot AC top 40. The crossover release jumps nine places to #33 on the strength of its 455 tracking week spins.

Hozier’s “Someone New” which aims to follow in the footsteps of his smash “Take Me to Church,” enters the Top 40 at #34. Up ten places, it received 415 tracking week spins.

Other new top 40 additions: Allen Stone’s “Freedom” (#36, +7; 397 weekly spins), American Authors’ “Go Big or Go Home” (#39, +25; 378 weekly spins), OMI’s “Cheerleader” (#40, +12; 359 weekly spins).
