Fifth Harmony, Elle King, Nick Fradiani Reach Hot AC Radio’s Top 50

Technically new to the Top 50, Rob Thomas’ “Trust You,” American Authors’ “Go Big or Go Home” and OMI’s “Cheerleader” also enter the Top 40 on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC chart.

While not yet Top 40 entries, three other songs – all of which have gained traction on other formats – also land inside the walls of hot adult contemporary radio’s Top 50.

Leading the charge is Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink).” Newly named a Top 10 hit at pop radio and Top 20 hit at rhythmic radio, the “Reflection” single earns the #45 spot on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart. It received 260 spins during the May 31-June 6 tracking week.

Also new to the Hot AC Top 50 is Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s.” Now a Top 10 hit at Triple A and a Top 20 hit at alternative, the crossover jumps twelve places to #46 at Hot AC. It received 249 tracking week spins.

Nick Fradiani’s “Beautiful Life” is the third addition to this week’s Top 50. Up nineteen places, it reaches #47 on the strength of its 236 weekly Hot AC spins. “Beautiful Life,” which is this year’s “American Idol” coronation single, is also a Top 50 entry at pop radio.
