Already a top 30 song on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and a top 40 song on the Mediabase country radio singles chart, Sam Hunt’s “House Party” officially went for radio adds this week.
It landed atop the add board.
“House Party,” which is the follow-up to Hunt’s chart-topping “Take Your Time,” earns the most-added distinction thanks to weekly pickups from 37 Mediabase-monitored stations.
The “House Party” country run commences as the aforementioned “Take Your Time” begins to rise at the hot adult contemporary, pop and adult contemporary radio formats.
Added by 36 monitored stations, Jake Owen’s new single “Real Life” follows as the week’s second-most added country song. Thanks to promotional day one airplay, it, too, holds a Top 30 position on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
The Cadillac Three’s new “White Lightning” follows with 30 adds. Luke Bryan’s new “Kick The Dust Up” grabs fourth-most added on the strength of 25 pickups, while Chris Young’s “I’m Comin’ Over” lands in fifth with 21 adds.
Other notable country options: Hunter Hayes’ “21” (17 adds, 6th-most added), Billy Currington’s “Drinking Town with a Football Problem” (16 adds, 7th-most added), Kristian Bush’s “Light Me Up” (15 adds, 8th-most added), Chris Janson’s “Buy Me a Boat” (12 adds, 9th-most added), Lucy Angel’s “Crazy Too” (8 adds, 10th-most added).
