Taylor Swift’s cat Meredith is named after the actress’ “Grey’s Anatomy” character.
Predictably, Ellen Pompeo is one of the celebrities appearing in Swift’s “Bad Blood” video.
Swift confirmed Pompeo’s involvement in a Thursday morning Tweet. Known as Dr. Meredith Grey on “Grey’s Anatomy,” Pompeo will play “Luna” in the celebrity-heavy video.
Other confirmed characters include Swift’s Catastrophe, Lily Aldridge’s Frostbyte, Zendaya’s Cut-Throat, Hayley Williams’ The Crimson Curse, Gigi Hadid’s Slay-Z, Ellie Goulding’s Destructa X, Hailee Steinfeld’s The Trinity, Lena Dunham’s Lucky Fiori, Kendrick Lamar’s Welvin da Great, Karlie Kloss’ Knockout, Serayah’s Dilemma, Jessica Alba’s Domino and Martha Hunt’s HomeSlice.
The video premieres during the May 17 Billboard Music Awards.
