Florida Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney Go Top 10 on Country Airplay Chart

In conjunction with its top ten vault on the Mediabase country chart, Florida Georgia Line’s “Sippin’ on Fire” reaches the top ten on Billboard’s corresponding Country Airplay chart.

The song, which is the third single from the duo’s “Anything Goes,” rises two places to #9 this week. It received 27.989 million weekly audience impressions, and its week-over-week gain of 4.825 million ranks as the format’s greatest.

“Fire” is the follow-up to “Sun Daze,” which hit #1 on the Country Airplay chart. “Dirt,” that song’s predecessor, also reached the apex of Billboard’s listing.

— “Sippin’ on Fire” is not the week’s only addition to the top ten.

Currently knocking on the door of the Top 10 on the Mediabase country radio chart, Kenny Chesney’s “Wild Child (with Grace Potter)” officially enters that section on this week’s Billboard listing.

Up three places this week, “Wild Child” grabs the #10 spot on the strength of its 24.207 million weekly audience impressions.

“Wild Child” follows “American Kids” and “Til It’s Gone” as the third straight Top 10 hit from Chesney’s “The Big Revival.” Both of those songs ultimately reached #1.

Other movers this week:

— Eric Paslay’s “She Don’t Love You” and Brad Paisley’s “Crushin’ It” reach the top fifteen this week. The songs, which grab respective positions of #14 and #15, are both up two places this week.

— Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” and Frankie Ballard’s “Young & Crazy” reach the top twenty at #19 and #20, respectively. Each bests last week’s spot by two positions.

— Blake Shelton’s “Sangria” surges seven places to a new peak of #21. Jason Aldean’s “Tonight Looks Good on You” (#24, +2) and Gloriana’s “Trouble” (#25, +5) also reach the Top 25.

— Luke Bryan’s “Games” (#27, +5), Dustin Lynch’s “Hell of a Night” (#28, +5), Rascal Flatts’ “Riot” (#29, +2) and Maddie & Tae’s “Fly” (#30, +5) reach the Top 30.

— Lady Antebellum’s “Long Stretch of Love” (#35, +6), Eli Young Band’s “Turn it On” (#37, +8), Dan + Shay’s “Nothin’ Like You” (#38, +4), Parmalee’s “Already Callin’ You Mine” (#39, +4) and Jana Kramer’s “I Got the Boy” (#40, +7) enter the Top 40 on this week’s chart.
