Ratings: NBC’s “The Slap” Performs Worse at 10PM Than “Allegiance” (Updated)

Replacing “Allegiance” with “The Slap” did not remedy NBC’s Thursday evening woes.

Thursday’s edition of “The Slap,” which aired in the 10PM slot that previously belonged to quickly cancelled drama “Allegiance,” drew a paltry 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 2.74 million viewers.

Last week’s “Allegiance” drew a markedly better (but still poor) 0.8 rating with 3.28 million viewers.

“Dateline: The Real Blacklist,” which replaced “The Slap” in the 8PM hour, also failed to introduce significant improvement. “The Real Blacklist” (0.9 rating, 4.51 million) only slightly bested last week’s “The Slap” (0.8, 3.92 million viewers) in the key adults 18-49 demographic.

“The Blacklist,” which aired in between “Dateline” and “The Slap,” scored a 1.7 rating with 7.49 million viewers. The demo rating ties a series low; the viewership mark sets a new one.
