As part of a press release confirming the involvement of Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart and Ariana Grande in the post-Super Bowl edition of its “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” NBC announced several names for the subsequent few episodes.
The announcement confirmed names like Michael Keaton, Gwen Stefani, Will Smith, Neil Young, Rosamund Pike, Vin Diesel and Jack White for the episodes, which are to be taped in Los Angeles.
NBC’s release did not, however, clarify the nature of each guest’s involvement. For names like Stefani, Young and White, it therefore produced ambiguity about whether they would be visiting as interview guests or musical guests.
The network has since removed the ambiguity.
Stefani (2/2) and Young (2/3), NBC confirms, will be appearing as both interview and musical guests. White, meanwhile, will provide music on the February 5 episode.
