Tim McGraw’s “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools” is Country’s Most-Added (Updated)

Update: Picked up by 66 monitored Mediabase stations this week, Tim McGraw’s new single “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools” officially impacts as country radio’s most-added track.

To earn that honor, the track had to outperform new releases from Brad Paisley, Maddie & Tae and Keith Urban.

Paisley’s “Crushin’ It” claims second-most-added on the strength of its 62 pickups, while Maddie & Tae’s “Fly” lands at 45. Keith Urban’s “Raise ‘Em Up (featuring Eric Church)” follows closely thanks to its 44 weekly adds.

Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown,” which was last week’s most-added song, slides to the #5 spot this week with 28 new pickups.

In Tim McGraw’s “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools,” Brad Paisley’s “Crushin’ It,” Maddie & Tae’s “Fly” and Keith Urban’s “Raise ‘Em Up (featuring Eric Church),” country radio officially welcomed four follow-ups to #1 hits this week.

It gave its warmest welcome to the McGraw track.

According to Mediabase, “Diamond Rings & Old Barstools” was the country format’s most-added song this week.

The follow-up to McGraw’s chart-topping “Shotgun Rider” scored 66 monitored Mediabase adds this week.
