Two of the radio world’s hottest new songs share the most-added distinction at hot adult contemporary this week.
Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” which is currently the fastest-rising song at pop and Hot AC, and Taylor Swift’s “Style,” which is the second-greatest gainer at pop and fourth-greatest at Hot AC, each scored adds from 24 monitored Mediabase stations this week.
Only one song received half as much new support this week. Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do,” that song, landed at 14 new stations.
Kelly Clarkson’s “Heartbeat Song” and The Script’s “No Good in Goodbye” tie for fourth-most-added. Each scored 10 monitored Mediabase adds this week.
Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer” grabs the sixth-most-added label on the strength of its 9 adds, while Kid Rock’s “First Kiss,” Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” and Train’s “Bulletproof Picasso” all tie for seventh-most-added. The three songs each won support from eight stations.
George Ezra’s “Budapest” and Walk the Moon’s “Shut up and Dance” share tenth-most-added with 6 adds apiece.
