Rihanna, Kanye & Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds” Debuts at Radio

Roc Nation is wasting no time in its effort to push “FourFiveSeconds.”

In addition to launching the new Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney collaboration on iTunes Saturday, the label also digitally serviced the effort to most major radio formats.

According to the PlayMPE service, “FourFiveSeconds” seeks airplay from pop, rhythmic, urban, urban adult contemporary, hot adult contemporary and adult contemporary radio stations.

Upon receiving the song just before 9:30PM ET, numerous iHeartMedia stations confirmed they would be playing the song on an hourly basis for the duration of the weekend.

As it did in the hours after West and McCartney’s “Only One” debuted, iTunes appears to be delaying the revelation of this new song’s sales chart position. At some point Sunday, however, music fans should expect to see “FourFiveSeconds” in the chart’s upper reaches.
