The Pretty Reckless’ “Follow Me Down” Hits Top 10 on Mainstream Rock Songs

As the greatest airplay gainer, The Pretty Reckless’ “Follow Me Down” last week brought itself to the border of the top ten.

It does not repeat as greatest gainer this week (that honor goes to Halestorm’s new “Apocalyptic”). It does, however, enjoy a positional rise.

In making that leap, the single becomes TPR’s third consecutive top ten hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart.

“Follow” grabs this week’s #9 spot on the strength of the 867 spins it received from stations on the Nielsen BDS mainstream rock panel. The spin count bests that of last week by 106.

TPR previously reached the top ten–and ultimately number one–with fellow “Going to Hell” singles “Heaven Knows” and “Messed Up World.”

“Follow Me Down” is also expected to reach the top ten on this week’s edition of Mediabase’s corresponding active rock chart. It is #9 on the rolling edition of the chart thanks to the 988 Mediabase active rock spins it received during the January 14-20 tracking week.
