Common, John Legend, Usher to Perform at Grammys; Jessie J Update

Update: While Jessie J and Tom Jones were not identified in the latest Grammys press release, a CBS representative confirms to Headline Planet that the two will be performing at the February 8 show.

News of the Jessie J-Tom Jones duet first emerged via a commercial that aired during Sunday’s AFC Championship game.

CBS confirmed Wednesday that Common and John Legend will perform their Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-nominated collaboration “Glory” at the 2015 Grammy Awards.

Along with Usher, the two become the latest confirmed performers for the February 8 ceremony. All three names are up for awards at this year’s show.

CBS’ Wednesday press release reiterated that Sam Smith, Miranda Lambert and Pharrell, whom were identified as performers in a commercial that aired during the AFC Championship game, are confirmed for the show.

Jessie J and Tom Jones, whom that commercial claimed would be performing a duet, were not listed in the latest press release but are still expected to play the show.

Other confirmed performers include AC/DC, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Eric Church and Madonna.
