Calvin Harris’ “Outside,” Taylor Swift’s “Style” Reach Pop’s Top 25

Like the weekly pop radio add board, the official Mediabase pop radio airplay chart brings good news for Ellie Goulding.

In addition to confirming a #31 position for her new “Love Me Like You Do,” the chart reveals that her latest collaboration with Calvin Harris is now a top 25 song.

Mediabase lists Calvin Harris’ “Outside (featuring Ellie Goulding)” as its #23 pop song this week. Up seven places on the chart, the track commanded 2,710 spins between January 11 and 17.

— “Outside” is not the only top 25 addition this week. Following closely behind–and moving in a way that suggests it will imminently leapfrog the Harris track–is Taylor Swift’s third “1989” single “Style.”

“Style,” which entered the top 40 at #38 last week, flies to #24 on this week’s edition of the pop radio listing. It received 2,686 plays during the aforementioned tracking period. That count is the result of a spin increase of 1,754; Mediabase calls that the week’s third-greatest airplay gain.

— Usher’s “I Don’t Mind (featuring Juicy J)” also reaches the top 25 this week. It soars to #25 on the strength of its 580 weekly spins.
