Lorde, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan Albums Certified Multi-Platinum in 2014

That 2014 was a rough year for new album releases has already been established. Of the albums to first hit shelves in 2014, only Taylor Swift’s “1989” sold more than two million copies. If the parameters are extended to reflect any albums that moved more than two million copies in 2014, the list only adds one name: the “Frozen” soundtrack.

But insofar as the RIAA constantly certifies albums and singles, it did issue new multi-platinum certifications to a handful of other albums. It issued a recap of those certifications in a press release Monday.

The list follows:
