Blake Shelton to Appear on NBC’s 1/22 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

It’d sure be cool if Blake Shelton did something more musical when visiting next week’s “The Tonight Show,” but fans will certainly take an appearance over no appearance.

NBC announced that the “Voice” coach and country music superstar will appear on the January 22 edition of its “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Not booked as the musical guest, Shelton is, however, positioned as the night’s lead interview guest.

Performing duty instead falls on Motley Crue, which takes the stage after Shelton and fellow guest Bob Costas sit down with host Jimmy Fallon.

Not any old episode of “Tonight,” the January 22 episode is the series’ 200th installment.

Other upcoming “Tonight Show” guests include Jennifer Lopez, Jude Law, Keri Russell, Fall Out Boy and Jennifer Aniston.

NBC’s full “Tonight Show” listings follow:
