Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” Goes Top 20 at Pop Radio

Whether one looks at the Billboard Pop Songs chart or the rolling Mediabase pop airplay chart, he will discover Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” within the top twenty.

Thanks to the chart’s greatest airplay gain, “Thinking” rises six places to #20 on this week’s Billboard Pop Songs chart. Per Nielsen/BDS, it received 3,551 spins and 21.775 million audience impressions during the most recent tracking week.

Sheeran previously reached the chart’s top twenty with “Don’t” (peak #2), “Sing” (peak #6), “The a Team” (peak #9) and “Lego House” (peak #20).

“Thinking” also reaches #20 on the latest rolling Mediabase chart. Per data from that panel, it received 4,196 spins and 29.738 million audience impressions during the December 24-30 tracking period.

Also a hit on the adult pop/hot adult contemporary format, “Thinking Out Loud” claims #9 on Billboard’s latest Adult Pop Songs chart and #7 on Mediabase’s rolling Hot AC chart.
