Courtesy “I’m Not the Only One,” Sam Smith is on track to score his second top ten hit as a solo artist and third overall.
That achievement will not come to fruition this week.
While “Only One” rises to a new peak on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100, it does not claim a top ten spot. It instead settles for #12, which represents a four place rise over last week’s number.
It nonetheless appears to be a given that Smith’s song will enter the top ten in the near future.
Other positive movers within the #11-20 section this week include Rich Gang’s “Lifestyle (featuring Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan)” (#16, +1), Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” (#18, debut), Calvin Harris’ “Blame (featuring John Newman)” (#19, +2) and I LOVE MAKONNEN’s “Tuesday (featuring Drake)” (#20, +15).
Movers between #21 and #25 include Pitbull’s “Fireball (featuring John Ryan)” (#23, +7), Ariana Grande & The Weeknd’s “Love Me Harder” (#24, +13) and Rae Sremmud’s “No Type” (#25, #13).
