Tove Lo Performs “Not on Drugs” on “The Tonight Show” (Watch Now)

From Headline Planet to VH1 to iHeartRadio, the biggest names in music aggressively touted Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo as one of the artists to most closely watch in 2014.

She continues to prove her supporters right.

Earlier this week, Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” claimed the top position on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart. Shortly thereafter, Mediabase revealed that the artist’s breakthrough track is pop radio’s most-played song and a lock to score the #1 spot when its official airplay chart goes to print Sunday evening. And insofar as the song is also enjoying success on streaming networks and at the iTunes digital store, “Habits (Stay High)” is able to claim an impressive third place on Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot 100.

Tove Lo’s ascent into superstardom continues Thursday night courtesy an appearance on NBC’s iconic “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The singer-songwriter, who has previously appeared on talk shows like “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “Conan” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” brings her talent to “The Tonight Show” a week before appearing at VH1’s “You Oughta Know” concert.

Matthew McConaughey and Beth Behrs also appear on Thursday’s edition of “Fallon.”

Taped Thursday afternoon, the broadcast airs at 11:35PM ET on NBC. First look photos from the episode follow (click the thumbnails to view the full-sized images). A video of Tove Lo’s “Not on Drugs” performance is also below:
