Taylor Swift’s New Single “Blank Space” Scoring at Pop Radio

Republic has not even yet begun advertising a pop impact date for Taylor Swift’s new single “Blank Space,” and it is already garnering immense support from the format.

According to Mediabase, the follow-up to #1 smash “Shake it Off” has been playlisted by some of the nation’s largest and most influential pop stations.

Among those in on the action are New York’s Z100, Los Angeles’ 102.7 KIIS, Chicago’s 103.5 KISS and Dallas’ 106.1 KISS.

In all, twenty pop stations monitored by Mediabase added “Blank Space” this week. The week’s fourth-most-added track, it ranks beneath only Iggy Azalea’s “Beg for It” (107), Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie” (63) and Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” (30).

Cut from Swift’s new album “1989,” “Blank Space” is currently #2 on the iTunes all-genre single sales chart.
