Demonstrating a welcome trajectory, Showtime’s new drama “The Affair” achieved a second consecutive week of ratings improvement.
And this week’s uptick dwarfs that delivered by last week’s broadcast.
Sunday’s “The Affair,” which was the series’ third broadcast to date, drew a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating (rounded up from a 0.19) with 599,000 viewers. The 10/12 premiere, meanwhile, drew a 0.1 rating (rounded down from a 0.14) with 507,000 viewers.
Assistance once again came from Showtime flagship “Homeland,” which also enjoyed a second week of improvement. After delivering a 0.5 rating (but rounded up from a 0.47) with 1.35 million viewers last week, “Homeland” this week posted a 0.5 (rounded down from a 0.53) with 1.53 million.
