George Ezra’s “Budapest” Scores at Alt Radio, Walk the Moon Follows

Set for a pop/mainstream push in the near future, George Ezra’s international hit “Budapest” still has work to do at US alternative radio, where it is currently the 37th-most-played song.

This week, eight monitored Mediabase stations opted to throw their support behind the cause. That total represents the largest add count for an alternative song this week.

Close behind is the 7 adds earned by Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance.” That song is already #24 on the rolling Mediabase alternative airplay chart.

Other appealing options for alt radio programmers this week included Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite,” Fitz and the Tantrums’ “Fools Gold,” Kooks’ “Bad Habit” and Royal Blood’s “Figure it Out.” All four songs picked up four adds this week.
