Singer-songwriter Tove Lo’s “Habits” is staying high–and actually going higher–on the charts, but she is not letting that song’s ongoing success function as a barrier to progression.
Tuesday, she officially released the video for new single “Not on Drugs.”
“BABES! Here it is! The video of my new single ‘Not On Drugs,'” writes Tove Lo in support of the newly released video, which is embedded below. “There’s always the happy part before the broken heart. Here’s mine, about the good kind. Come join me in my little love trip.”
The track, which appeared on her “Truth Serum” EP and will appear on her upcoming “Queen of the Clouds” LP, established itself as a fan favorite upon first arriving. The video, from an artist whose previous clips “Stay High (Habits Remix),” “Habits (Stay High)” and “Out of Mind” have garnered respective view counts of 34 million, 12 million and 2 million, will expose the song to a significantly larger audience.
Tove Lo’s current American single “Habits,” which is receiving a boost from iHeartRadio’s “On the Verge” program, is currently #26 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart and #43 on the iTunes single sales chart.
