Sarah Hyland to Co-Host Teen Choice Awards; Taylor, Ariana to Appear

The male-female co-host trend will continue after all.

FOX announced Friday that “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland will join Tyler Posey as a co-host of its upcoming Teen Choice Awards broadcast.

The 2014 program will be the third consecutive Teen Choice Awards ceremony to feature a male-female hosting tandem. Darren Criss and Lucy Hale co-hosted the 2013 edition, while Kevin McHale and Demi Lovato united for the 2012 broadcast.

The network also confirmed new celebrities for the August 10 broadcast.

Taylor Swift, Ansel Elgort, Victoria Justice, Collins Key, Laura and Vanessa Marano, Ian Somerhalder, Odeya Rush, Brenton Thwaites and Ariana Grande join a list of celebrity attendees that includes Hilary Duff, Megan Fox, Fifth Harmony, Kevin Hart, Colton Haynes, Josh Hutcherson, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Lea Michele, The Band Perry, Keegan Allen, Jake T. Austin, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, Big Show, Jamie Blackley, Cody Simpson, Hailee Steinfeld, Gregg Sulkin, Bella Thorne, Nat Wolff and Zendaya.

Demi Lovato (with Cher Lloyd), Rita Ora, MAGIC!, Rixton and Jason DeRulo will perform on the broadcast.
