FX’s “Married” Ratings Slip to Scary Low in Week Three

After premiering to modest ratings on July 7, FX’s “Married” has officially fallen into the abyss.

Thursday’s episode, the show’s third, drew a paltry 0.2 adults 18-49 rating with just 0.54 million viewers.

The performance was the second to endure a steep decline in as many weeks. Following the premiere episode, which drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.12 million viewers, episode two settled for a mere 0.4 rating with 0.81 million viewers.

The ratings portrait is even worse for timeslot companion “You’re the Worst.” After opening to a soft 0.4 rating with 0.77 million viewers, “Worst” dipped to a 0.3 rating with 0.61 million viewers in week two.

A precise rating for episode three was not available at press time, but the belief is that the show drew a smaller audience (but not necessarily a lower rounded rating) than “Married” in the adults 18-49 demographic.
