5SOS’ “Amnesia,” Steve Aoki’s “Delirious” Go Top 40 at Pop

5 Seconds of Summer is two-for-two on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

After scoring with debut single “She Looks So Perfect,” the pop-rock band enters the official Top 40 this week with follow-up “Amnesia.”

A member of the rolling Top 40 since early last week, “Amnesia” makes its Top 40 status official with a #34 ranking on the published edition of Mediabase’s pop radio chart. The song garnered 1,591 spins and 6.31 million audience impressions during the measured period between July 20 and July 26.

One of the pop format’s ten biggest airplay gainers, “Amnesia” should only move higher in the weeks ahead.

Thanks to the removal of Rixton’s free falling “Me and My Broken Heart” from its “currents” chart, Mediabase also makes room for Steve Aoki, Chris Lake and Tujamo’s “Delirious (Boneless) (featuring Kid Ink)” in this week’s pop radio Top 40. The song, which is a version of the trio’s “Boneless” that features a contribution from rapper Kid Ink, was pop’s 40th-most-played song for the seven days ending July 26. It scored 847 spins and 6.48 million audience impressions during that period.

Other notables on this week’s official Mediabase pop airplay chart:

— MAGIC!’s “Rude” secures the #1 spot. Nico and Vinz’ “Am I Wrong,” which reigned for two weeks, slips to #2, while Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” (#3), Ariana Grande’s “Problem (featuring Iggy Azalea)” (#4) and Disclosure’s “Latch (featuring Sam Smith)” (#5) complete the top five.

— Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap” secures Top 10 status. It appears at #9 on the published Mediabase chart.

— Ariana Grande’s “Break Free (featuring Zedd)” rises four places to #13.

— Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora)” enters the Top 20 at #17. Enrique Iglesias’ “Bailando (featuring Descemer Bueno, Sean Paul and Gente de Zona)” does so at #19.

— Kiesza’s “Hideaway” secures Top 25 status at #24.

— Florida Georgia Line’s “This is How We Roll (remix featuring Jason DeRulo)” reaches the Top 30 at #26. Echosmith’s “Cool Kids” (#28) and Ingrid Michaelson’s “Girls Chase Boys” (#30) also reach the Top 30.

— Big gainers just outside of the Top 40 include Fifth Harmony’s #42 “Bo$$” (+5 spots, +366 spins), Jeremih’s #44 “Don’t Tell ‘Em (featuring YG)” (+5 spots, +282 spins), The 1975’s #45 “Girls” (+6 spots, +270 spins), Jake Miller’s #49 “First Flight Home” (+9 spots, +213 spins) and Usher’s “She Came to Give it To You (featuring Nicki Minaj)” (+9 spots, +196 spins).
