FX’s “Tyrant” Ratings Hold Steady for Latest Episode

Change might be coming to Abbudin, but a regime of steadiness governs ratings for FX’s “Tyrant.”

Tuesday’s episode, which was the series’ fifth, matched last week’s 0.5 adults 18-49 rating. Viewership was down slightly to 1.50 million.

After premiering to a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 2.10 million viewers, the show’s subsequent four episodes have each delivered either a 0.5 or 0.6 adults 18-49 rating. Viewership following the premiere has ranged between 1.38 million (episode two) and 1.70 million (episode three).

Despite paling in comparison to fellow newcomer “The Strain,” which posted a 1.0 rating and 2.12 million for Sunday’s airing, “Tyrant” is outperforming FX’s critically acclaimed sophomore drama “The Bridge.”

Last week’s “The Bridge” delivered a mere 0.3 rating with 1.18 million viewers.
