Enrique’s “Bailando,” Rita Ora’s “I Will Never Let You Down” Go Top 40

While neither is rising at an explosive pace, both Enrique Iglesias’ “Bailando (featuring Sean Paul, Gente de Zona and Descemer Bueno)” and Rita Ora’s “I Will Never Let You Down” have finally advanced into the Top 40 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

Their climbs–“Bailando” to #38 and “I Will Never” to #39–come as Pharrell’s “Happy,” Jason DeRulo’s “Talk Dirty (featuring 2 Chainz)” and Naughty Boy’s “La La La (featuring Sam Smith)” go recurrent and thus get removed from the rolling airplay chart.

Each song secured 947 pop radio spins for the seven days ending June 7. Thanks to its popularity in larger markets, “Bailando,” however, garnered an audience almost four times as large.

According to Mediabase, “Bailando” reached approximately 10.44 million Top 40 radio listeners over the past seven days. Its audience is pop radio’s thirty second largest.

The Rita Ora track scored just 2.72 million impressions on the format.
