Ariana Grande’s “Problem” Enters Top 5 on Pop Airplay Chart

Still the fastest rising song at Top 40 radio, Ariana Grande’s “Problem (featuring Iggy Azalea)” is rapidly making its way to the top of the chart.

According to Mediabase, the song, which remains the most-downloaded track on iTunes, was the fifth-most-played song over the seven days ending June 6. Its estimated audience of 85.74 million, meanwhile, ranks as the format’s fourth largest.

And the rise is not over. “Problem” should pass John Legend’s “All of Me” for the #4 spot as early as tomorrow. It will then ultimately edge Justin Timberlake’s declining “Not a Bad Thing” before challenging Paramore’s #2 “Ain’t it Fun” and Iggy Azalea’s #1 “Fancy (Charli XCX)” for the throne.

“Problem” is currently #2 on the definitive Billboard Hot 100 chart, which calculates a combined score based on airplay, streams, digital sales and on-demand plays.
