One of the season’s best episodes, the 200th edition of “How I Met Your Mother” also delivered in the ratings department.

The episode, which walked through the series’ chronology from the perspective of the titular mother (Cristin Milioti), drew a 6.7 overnight metered market rating.

An improvement from the 5.9 delivered by the previous two “Mother” installments, the performance fueled a stronger night for the balance of CBS’ comedy lineup.
