Far more newsworthy than its win, however, was the fact that the foursome only saluted two of its fellow nominees during the acceptance speech. While they credited The Rolling Stones (nominated for “Doom & Gloom”) and Black Sabbath (“God is Dead?”), the winners made no mention of Gary Clark, Jr and Muse, who were nominated for “Ain’t Messin ‘Round” and “Panic Station,” respectively.
