“Psych: The Musical” Scores Okay Ratings, “Total Divas” Underwhelms

No, it was not a second coming of “The Sound of Music Live.” No, it was not even strong by the standards of its franchise or network. But given the out-of-season airdate and unfamiliar timeslot, USA Network’s “Psych: The Musical” performed respectably.

Sunday’s two-hour broadcast, which was technically part of the season seven production order, posted a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 2.23 million viewers.

The episode, which trailed originals of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Homeland” and rebroadcasts of shows like “Family Guy” and “Law & Order: SVU,” was the fourteenth-highest-rated show among cable originals Sunday.

— Also on cable: the season finale of E’s WWE reality series “Total Divas” underwhelmed with a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.30 million viewers. While it endured the burdens of airing against WWE’s TLC pay-per-view and without lead-in help from an original “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” it had the benefits of being the season finale, featuring Daniel Bryan’s proposal to Brie Bella and airing opposite weaker than usual competition.

Last week’s show posted a 0.7 rating with 1.20 million viewers.
