No Luck for “Lucky 7,” Show Cancelled Due to Poor Ratings

Its main characters won the lottery, but ABC’s “Lucky 7” couldn’t muster the luck it needed to avoid cancellation after sinking to an abysmal rating this week.

“7” has officially become the first casualty of the fall season.

After premiering to a very disappointing–but not unexpected given the lack of hype–1.3 adults 18-49 rating last week, “Lucky 7” sank to a disastrous 0.7 for its second broadcast. That was all ABC, which made the interim call to replace the DOA show with re-runs of “Scandal,” needed to see.

As of press time, ABC had not yet revealed plans to air or release the remaining “Lucky 7” episodes.
