FX’s “The Bridge” Ratings Tie Series Low for Finale

Though Wednesday’s season finale of “The Bridge” rebounded from last week’s viewership low, it returned to its valley in the adults 18-49 demo.

The FX drama, which was recently renewed for a second season, closed its first cycle with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.43 million viewers. The latter figure marks a slight improvement over the prior week’s 1.34 million, but the former ties a series low.

Its second and ninth episodes also garnered 0.5 ratings in the adults 18-49 demographic.

Starring Diane Kruger and Demian Bichir, “The Bridge” premiered this summer as FX’s latest critically-appreciated drama. Though not as acclaimed as winter launch “The Americans,” its ratings and viewership were comparable over the course of the first season.

Like “The Americans,” “The Bridge” was renewed for a second season.
