Krewella Releases Full Stream of Debut Album “Get Wet;” Listen Now

With an unabashed sense of fun and an unpretentious, yet masterful, sense of musicality, Krewella has made itself worthy of mass embrace.

And while that sort of label will likely stifle reverence in aggressively-hipster circles, it also makes the trio–consisting of sister DJ-singer-songwriters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf and producer Rain Man–infinitely and simultaneously appealing to EDM and mainstream music fans.

For the EDM crowd, Krewella’s furious beats and infectious energy make them an immensely popular live act. For the mainstream crowd, the group’s undeniable knack for melody, as demonstrated on breakthrough single “Alive,” assures it will never fall into the descriptive abyss of mindless, interchangeable dance music.

But it does assure the trio will have a receptive audience of media, fans and music aficionados to whom it can communicate its message and demonstrate its talent.

Conscious of that opportunity–and of the way today’s listeners, particularly in the EDM realm, access music–Krewella this week released a full stream of the album on its SoundCloud account. Consisting of the twelve standard-edition “Get Wet” tracks, that stream is available below:
