Hoping to prove it is not dead, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” returns this fall with its most interesting cast in several seasons.
Though the bulk of those competing remain very distant from the A-list–and thus consistent with the “where are the stars” criticism that has forever plagued the series–they also represent a more intriguing group than the lower-profile ones from past seasons.
Among those in the mix are Bill Nye the Science Guy, Keyshawn Johnson, former “Glee” star Amber Riley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
