First Look: The New “American Idol” Judges Ready for Season 13

In a move that helped the show avoid broadcast delays and brought speculation to an end, FOX’s “American Idol” confirmed its judging panel Tuesday.

Joining the previously-confirmed Keith Urban at the famous “Idol” table will be Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr. The latter makes his debut as an “Idol” judge, while Lopez returns after previously judging seasons ten and eleven.

The trio connected to begin evaluating contestants in Boston, MA. The season 13 audition process–along with the rest of the “Idol” journey–begins airing in January 2014.

In conjunction with the announcement, FOX issued the above first look at the “Idol” panel.
