“The Bridge” Ratings Hold Steady for Major, Revealing Episode

FX’s modestly-rated but increasingly consistent “The Bridge” attracted a steady audience for Wednesday’s gamechanging episode, which exposed Alma’s extramarital lover as David Tate, the man behind the recent string of murders.

The episode, the show’s eight, delivered a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with an improved viewership average of 1.77 million viewers.

“The Bridge,” FX’s latest critically-acclaimed drama, has been oscillating in this general range since its third episode. Though it has yet to be officially renewed for a second season, its performance has been comparable to that of fellow 2013 launch “The Americans,” which did receive a second season.

Episode eight of “The Americans” drew a 0.6 rating with 1.65 million viewers.
