FX’s “The Bridge” Ratings Climb, Show Hits Highest Mark Since Premiere

Last week’s episode was not strongly received, but it did nothing to discourage viewers from sticking with “The Bridge.” FX’s gritty drama rose in the ratings this week, matching its second-highest adults 18-49 viewer count and attracting its largest audience since the premiere.

Wednesday’s episode, the series’ fifth, delivered a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating, representing a one-tenth improvement from last week’s 0.6. Viewership, meanwhile, rose to a healthy 1.92 million, besting last week’s 1.75 million average.

Despite the improvement, “The Bridge”‘s performance was not among the top twenty on cable Wednesday night. It was, however, markedly better than the 0.5 rating and 1.44 million viewer mark posted by episode five of similarly-skewing “The Americans” back in February.
