“Arrested Development” Creator Hurwitz Thanks Fans for Season 4

Season four of “Arrested Development” bowed on Netflix early Sunday morning, and amidst all the fanfare and enthusiasm comes a response from creator Mitch Hurwitz.

Hurwitz posted a handwritten note on the show’s Facebook page Sunday, thanking fans for their “ardent support” of the groundbreaking comedy.

The show’s creator was not universally gracious, however, and opted to exclude the “haters, detractors, etc” from his thank-you note.

“We are all so grateful for another chance to bring these characters to life,” continued Hurwitz, who urged viewers to consume the fifteen new episodes in order.
