TNA Wrestling Replaces Jason Pierre-Paul With Another NFL Player

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul might have backed out of a scheduled appearance with TNA Wrestling, but a Super Bowl champion will indeed appear at Monday’s iMPACT Wrestling taping.

Alex Marvez reported Monday that Brandon Jacobs, running back for the Giants, will appear in Pierre-Paul’s stead. As was the case with JPP, Jacobs is expected to have an altercation with Kurt Angle on the broadcast.

After being linked to the TNA Wrestling taping in reports, Pierre-Paul ultimately decided not to appear for the promotoin, citing exhaustion. But thanks to Jacobs, TNA’s hopes of a big Super Bowl tie-in remain intact.
